The current AIFC Law based on the Constitution Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan and consists of:
1) this Constitutional Law;
2) Acts of the AIFC that do not contradict the said Constitutional Law, and may be based on the principles, legislation and precedents of English and Wales Law, as well as on the standards of the world's leading financial centres used by the AIFC bodies in the exercise of their powers granted to them by the said Constitutional Law; and
3) The current Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan applicable to issues not covered by the said Constitutional Law and Acts of the AIFC.
